Terms

Last updated 30 September 2026

These terms are between [Business name] (ABN [ABN]), “we”, and the business using Taveroo, “you”. If you’ve signed an agreement with us, it takes priority where it says something different. Staff using Taveroo through their employer should read our privacy policy.

1. The service

Taveroo helps you roster your team: people and availability, leave, building and publishing rosters, and letting staff see their shifts. We improve it over time and will tell you before removing anything you rely on.

2. Accounts and security

  • You decide who gets a login and what role they have.
  • Owners need an authenticator app to change roles, invite owners or managers and export data, and you can require one at every login. Keep passwords and authenticator apps private, and tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.
  • You’re responsible for what happens under your organisation’s logins.

3. Your data

  • Your organisation’s data belongs to you. We use it only to provide Taveroo to you, as our privacy policy describes.
  • Download all of it at any time from Settings → Your data.
  • If you stop using Taveroo, you can download it first. We then delete it within [30] days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • You must tell your staff how their information is used (for example in your own privacy policy or staff handbook), and have the right to enter it.

4. Rosters, pay and the law are your responsibility

Taveroo shows warnings based on rules you set, such as breaks, rest between shifts and limits for younger staff. They’re a help, not advice. You’re responsible for your rosters meeting your award or agreement, the Fair Work Act, child employment rules and any other law, and for paying your staff correctly. Taveroo doesn’t give legal, award or pay advice.

5. AI helpers

AI helpers are off unless you ask us to turn them on. They only suggest: a person always checks and confirms, and the rostering rules still apply. See the privacy policy for what is sent and where.

6. Fair use

Don’t use Taveroo to break the law, to try to get into other businesses’ data, to overload or attack the service, or to copy it. We can suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why.

7. Fees

Fees, and who pays for hosting, are as set out in your quote or agreement: [fees and hosting costs]. We’ll give you [30] days’ notice of any change.

8. Availability and support

We aim for Taveroo to be available [99.5]% of the time, outside planned maintenance (which we’ll try to do outside trading hours). Support is available [support hours] by email to [privacy contact email]. Your data is backed up daily.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to [the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim].

10. Ending

Either of us can end this with [30] days’ written notice, or straight away if the other seriously breaks these terms. Section 3 (your data) still applies afterwards.

11. General

We may update these terms and will tell you [30] days before a change that affects you. The laws of Victoria, Australia apply. Questions: [privacy contact email], [postal address].
